As someone who is trying to learn about pre-1750 music, I have a few of their "sets" - the Aria, the one of masses, and a few others. They are arranged chronologically and help me become acquainted with different composers, styles, and so forth so that I can then concentrate on what I wish. Repackage all you want, HM! It is great for newbies like me.

Hi, Sarah!

This may or may not be doing you a favor, but Berkshire Record Outlet always has lots of Harmonia Mundi cheap. At the moment, they've got 203 sets at prices starting at $5.99 per CD.

Thanks, Lisa! I was already stimulating the economy via arkivmusic and hbdirect . . . . I am wondering if those "limited pressing" DVDs are, um, bootleg?

Heheh, I don't know. Could be!
