My idea of crossover is Ezio Pinza in South Pacific or Bryn Terfel singing music hall songs.
Everyone in the world has sung "Hallelujah," so why not Renee?
Because, seriously, I can sing it better than she can. She phrases in a square fashion and hasn't got the rhythmic freedom to let it rock.
"Hallelujah" doesn't bother me much, but Renee Fleming singing The Mars Volta? WTF!!!
