I have my browser set so that all websites give me tiny white type on black. Nothing else is readable. Black letters on a blaring sea of white, the usual web default, is completely unreadable. Web designers are still trying to replicate the "desktop" experience, forgetting that it's not the color, it's the saturation. On a reflective surface like paper, black is saturation. On an emitting surface like a computer screen, white is saturation. Saturated colors should never be used as background.

You are in the minority in preferring white on black.

I'm also in the minority in liking classical music. So?

I think many people would like this a lot better if they just tried it, instead of viscerally reacting against it. So much more restful to the eyes.
