The funniest thing came a bit later - he actually equated being the pres of the US as being "the leader of the free world". I mean really, does anyone in their right mind think of Bubya as the leader of the free world? What "free world", first of all? I mean, the USSR doesn't exist anymore, so that locution doesn't even make sense anymore.
I am sure there are people who think of Bush that way. Whether they are in their right minds or not...and that is a good point about the notions of "free world" and "leader of the."
