Thirteenth Part

Everybody, but everybody, who attended liked it more than I did:
Patrick did too, but he hasn't blogged it yet.

Moral of the story: sometimes it's better to stay home and wish you'd gone.

  2. Yes, the bloggers were out in force on this one, but reading between the lines, I'm not sure that the reactions were all that positive. Philip Glass is a composer who inspires great adulation, & I attended hoping to understand what all the fuss is about. I remain unconvinced about his music.

  3. Axel, if you do not know them, try the Eighth Symphony, the newish cello suite Songs & Poems for Cello (or Poems & Songs...can't remember which), and maybe Satyagraha. But based on Music in Twelve Parts...yeah.
