Earl Wild P.S.

There's plenty of the great pianist on YouTube.

And you can download the Rach concertos at the Chandos web site.

  1. That review has some oddities: it doesn't mention the recordings by Argerich, Rubinstein, Horowitz, or Hachmaninov himself, and its Chandos link is to a completely unrelated site. Not to take anything away from Wild, but this doesn't inspire confidence in the reviewers.

  2. All true. I will remove that link and replace it with another.

  3. Thanks. And my typo wasn't a wisecrack, just a typo.

  4. Ha, I knew who you meant. I have Rach's own recordings too. They are remarkably restrained!
