Cal Bach Summer Chorus Workshop

Cal Bach's annual summer workshop is coming up. Once again, it'll be Bach cantata choruses. The price is $50, which includes music and lunch. You can register on line or by mail. Here are the details:

Paul Flight continues his survey of the choruses from the cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach. Join members of the California Bach Society and Artistic Director Paul Flight in exploring the opening choruses from Cantata 110, Unser Mund sei voll Lachens; Cantata 39, Brich dem Hungrigen dein Brot; and Cantata 125, Mit Fried und Freud ich fahr dahin. Other choruses will include Ich harre des Herrn fromCantata 131, and Meine Augen stehen and Meine tage in den Leiden fromCantata 150. Dr. Flight will have the assistance of the CBS rehearsal accompanist, Gwen Adams.
