Levine, Met Orchestra, Goerke, Vinke

Reviews are starting to arrive for last night's Met Orchestra program at Carnegie Hall - perhaps the last to be conducted by James Levine, a sad milestone.
I expect a few others to weigh in.

  1. Tommasini seems to be turning every Levine review into a shilly career retrospective. It was nice of him to say something about the music by the 15th paragraph.
