Upcoming Retirements at San Francisco Symphony

An announcement from SFS brings news of retirements that are pending:

End of the 2019-20 season:
End of this calendar year:
  • Bass Trombone John Engelkes (39 years of service) will retire at the end of December 2020
End of the 2020-21 season:
  • Associate Principal Flute Robin McKee (36 years of service)
  • Principal Flute Tim Day (14 years of service)
  • 4th Chair Cello Margaret Tait (45 years of service) will retire at the end of the 2020–21 season.
The email includes this, although I seem to have missed anything official from the orchestra about Michael Grebanier's death:
Principal Cello and Principal Flute auditions will begin in May and continue through the 2020–21 season.
