"The purchase also includes an opera house"
Somebody please buy this for me: A castle in Scotland, which looks pretty darned good from the photos, and costs a mere $8.2 million. It has 12,000 s.f., 17 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a dining room that seats 16 without breaking a sweat, sea views, 30 acres, and, of course, that opera house, which used to be the carriage house.

And your first production? "McBeth" by Giuseppe Verdi of course.
YES.
Can I be your guest? I'll bring along a sparkling production of "Tales of Hoffmann."
Absolutely! How many of the 17 bedrooms will you need?
Well, I have kind of a big entourage. You know, being a classical music critic and all. I should say five or six will do. We'll double or triple up if we have to.
With 17 bedrooms, and perhaps by using the sitting rooms and studies too, it's probably possible to get the entire MCANA membership into this place.
Being near Wick, that makes it a very long drive indeed from anywhere else.
Peter Maxwell Davies has a music festival on Orkney, which is not far, so I would try to make some kind of alliance with him. Perhaps the first performance could be "Eight Songs for a Mad King."
