Thanks for the find.
She emailed me!
Lisa, you haven't done one of these in a while so, here it goes. :-)
File under: How Not To Do It
Today, the Cleveland Orchestra announced their 2009-10 season. Very nice, incredible orchestra whatever you think of the current music director, very curious to see what they're doing in Severence Hall that would merit a trip.
Problem: they don't list the concerts under the calendar or diary sections, so what they'll be doing outside of what was announced in the press release is still a mystery.
Is it such a radical concept for orchestras (Cleveland's not the only one that does this) to have the calendar and all the performers/pieces/dates ready to go when they announce their seasons? It's not like these things aren't planned years in advance.
Very true, Henry.
Lisa: she emailed you? I feel unpopular.
Sorry, Empricus!
Henry, I think I'll put up a posting about that.
Henry, am I missing something? Their full Severance Hall schedule is at the end of the press release here: http://www.clevelandorch.com/html/PressRoom/pressreleases.asp?ID=275
