I saw Jean Shelton of the Jean Shelton Acting School herself playing Martha in Berkeley years ago in a live production of "Virginia Woolf" and was horrified at how long and boring and hideous that play can be. I think I was with a date so I couldn't leave after Act 2, but Jeesh, did I ever want to. One of the rare movie adaptations that's better than the play, oddly enough, partly thanks to Liz & Dick.

I would never go see it in the first place.
