I'm not really surprised. think I mentioned to you a while back that I had heard, as a cost-saving move, they're not going to hire a new MD until the centennial celebration year.
I heard that SF Opera will perform The Fix in summer 2020. It plays at the Minnesota Opera this summer, and bass-baritone Kelly Markgraf will perform as Ring Lardner in both productions.
He is the husband of soprano Sasha Cooke.

That date is surely incorrect, because summer 2020 has already been announced: Ernani, Partenope, The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs.
