This fall, San Francisco Opera will again have a simulcast to Giants Stadium! (Not the current "naming rights" name of the San Francisco baseball stadium.)
It'll be a broadcast of Gounod's Roméo et Juliette, on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. You can sign up right now on the SFO web site.
Current casting includes Bryan Hymel, Nadine Sierra, Lucas Meachem, James Creswell, Timothy Mix, and others.

I've heard that Giants Stadium is a nice venue, but I have zero interest in baseball so I've never been there.
When they decide to broadcast an opera in which I have more interest than I do in a baseball game, I might go. But this isn't it.
It's fun to sit around eating French fries and watching opera on what you hope will be a warm night.
What operas do you want to see? Curious as opera isn't your preferred genre.
