As thematic programs go, that's certainly interesting and uncommon.
I am intrigued to see Phocion Henley on the programme. London Gallery Quire regard him as our house composer, as he was rector at a church where we used to rehearse. I have made a complete edition of his 24 hymns at . How did he come to be on this programme? "O God, whose former mercies make" appears on our CD "Praise ye the Lord."
