Kind of a short season; anyone have additional ideas? It's interesting that two of the operas above are by Britten.

Norma? Madama Butterfly? Suor Angelica? Médée/Medea (Cherubini, Charpentier, Reimann, etc.)?

Norma and Medea, yes, definitely!
I'm willing to entertain the others, but the child in Butterfly is not in mortal danger (even though he is being kidnapped by his father and the new wife) and the child in Suor is dead before the curtain goes up.
Since Suor Angelica is short, I suggest a double bill with a staged version of The Little Match Girl Passion.

How long is your season? Ten productions is more than what you get in Chicago or San Francisco.
This is fantasy, so up to 25.
Don't forget Britten's Death in Venice. Some folks have attributed the presence of young men in his operas to his attraction (which I believe he admitted but didn't act on) to young boys.
How about Krasa's Brundibar and Ravel's L'Enfant et les Sortileges? That could be an interesting double bill!
