Yeah - I caught that at lunch. He is from the same mold as Cardinal Rat, and yes, we will be going through this again in 10 years or so.
Maybe Francis I can help the board and the musicians of the San Francisco Symphony reach a new deal.
I hope you don't have any tickets to upcoming SFSO concerts, from what I heard on KUSC today, it seems like this could be a bitter, protracted affair.
I don't think this will last very long, and, well, I have a ticket for Saturday's planned Mahler 9.
