Oresteia
Sergei Taneyev's 1895 Oresteia received its U.S. premiere the other day at the Bard Festival. An extreme rarity, it's getting somewhat mixed reviews as a work, with accolades for the performers.
We posted two of our own reviews here and linked to a number of others: http://operalively.com/forums/showthread.php/1796-Sergei-Taneyev-s-Oresteia-at-the-Richard-B-Fisher-Center-for-the-Performing-Arts-at-Bard-College-Annandale-on-Hudson-New-York
Thank you. Because Blogger is too stupid to post a comment with a clickable link (headtable), I am going to copy that link in the posting and make it clickable.
