Lol, Joe, you have plenty to say. My letters were on the following subjects: Lawrence Summers, when he put his foot past his larynx on the subject of women and science; "The Merchant of Prato," by Iris Origo, when the Times had a travel article on Origo; rarely-heard verismo operas.
