Lisa Hirsch's Classical Music Blog. The iron tongue of midnight hath told twelve. Lovers, to bed; 'tis almost fairy time. Berce mollement sur ton sein sublime Ô puissante mer, l’enfant de Dindyme!
Well, congratulations! It's been a lifelong dream of mine to have a letter publshed in the Times.
Thanks! This is my fourth. I should just list them all some time.
Yeah. Horns are useless for flying!(Gosh! My word recognition word was "spalin." I kid you not. I'll take a picture and send it to you.)
Ahahaha!
Four letters? My gosh, I am in the presence of a legend. Seriously, I'm jealous. I guess it helps to have something to say.
Lol, Joe, you have plenty to say. My letters were on the following subjects: Lawrence Summers, when he put his foot past his larynx on the subject of women and science; "The Merchant of Prato," by Iris Origo, when the Times had a travel article on Origo; rarely-heard verismo operas.
